Tee Time! Golf Courses of the UK and Ireland, a highly detailed, hand drawn illustration by Ben Staves.
Now played throughout the world, the home of golf is the British Isles and, in particular, Scotland where it’s origins can be traced back over 500 years!
In this picture, Ben has highlighted those courses that have hosted The Open or the Ryder Cup, the battle between the best golfers from either side of the pond.
There are a total of 25 courses in the picture in which Ben has drawn the most famous hole or holes along with the Clubhouse. Spot the famous Swilcan Bridge at St Andrews, 'Hogan's Alley' 6th hole at Carnoustie and the iconic Lighthouse at Turnberry. He has also managed to squeeze in some famous sights, cities and cathedrals around the courses as well as Woodhall Spa, the home of England Golf.
Perfect as a present for a birthday, for a new or retiring Captain, or as a prize for the best four-ball!
