Discover hand embroidery creating a beautiful wool scarf to wear for years to come. This craft workshop is a great experience for birthdays in Brighton.
This craft workshop is great for beginners, a refresher for those who haven't embroidered in a while as well as advanced stitchers.
The scarves are made from super soft wool, perfect for wrapping around on chilly days or wearing loose to a party or wedding. Choose from a variety of scarf colours for your embroidery. At the point of booking, Stephie will ask which flower you would like to embroider. There are twelve unique designs created by Stephie, each representing a month of the year. Choose your birthday month flower or simply your favourite design. During the workshop we will stitch basic, easy to learn embroidery and decorative stitches. Your embroidery and scarf will be ready to take home by the end of the class!
Not to worry if you don't finish, materials, tools and instructions will be provided for you to finish at your own pace. Newbies are welcome but previous stitching experience may help. Stephie can lend a hand to anyone who needs it. You will not only leave with your gorgeous scarf but a new skill and top embroidery tips!

LOCATION - StephieAnn's creative studio in Hove, 20 minutes from central Brighton, 10 minutes walk from the beach. The closest station is Aldrington. Unfortunately there are some steps and the studio is not easily accessible for wheelchairs.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW - The workshop is approximately 3 hours, but may overrun by 30 minutes depending on experience levels. All materials and tools will be provided. You will take home your finished scarf on the day. If any embroidery isn't completed, instructions and extra thread can be provided for you to take home and finish at your own pace.Tea, coffee and soft drink refreshments will be provided. There are lots of lovely cafes, restaurants, pubs and bars within walking distance. Lunch can be provided or pre-ordered in collaboration with a local cafe.

HOW TO BOOK: A digital e-voucher will be sent to your Not On The High Street account 24-48 hours after the order has been placed. This will give you instructions on how to book. You will need to create a NOTHS account at checkout if you do not have one to receive an e-voucher which will be attached to your order enquiry. The workshop takes place weekdays and weekends. When ready to book, get in touch via the email on the voucher with your preferred date and time. If this isn't available, alternative options will be suggested. Depending on group numbers, you may have a private workshop or join one of our scheduled classes. Workshops don't run between November to mid-January.
