An educational eco-activity kit, showcasing the incredible power of an everyday vegetable - contains full instructions & equipment to make 4 colour changing drinks.
This kit shows children (3+) how to fill tea bags with the leaves of an everyday vegetable. Children will be surprised when water naturally turns a vibrant blue colour and further wowed by a secondary colour change that awaits when they add a little lemon juice (thereby changing the pH). A little honey is added to sweeten the lemonade and the (included) Stroodles pasta straws & green lemon granishes provide an exciting and sustainable way to enjoy the drinks.
Each ‘Magic Colour Changing Lemonade’ Eco Activity Kit contains:
- 4 dried green lemon granishes
- 4 large, ready-to-fill, tea bags
- 4 biodegradable Stroodles pasta straws
- Full instructions to make the lemonade pictured or a simpler (equally delicious) version
- Educational activity booklet, teaching about the (secret) vegetable & the importance of sustainability.
- BONUS instructions for a Colour Changing Noodles activity and a litmus science experiment. PLUS extra recipes to use up any remaining ingredients.
All wrapped in a copy of ‘Stroodly News’, an A3 sheet of Kraft paper that has activities and reduces the need for additional packaging.
The only additional ingredients needed are: water, 1/2 red cabbage, 2 lemons, honey/maple syrup (to taste)
