Indian Block Print Tapered Lampshade

A tapered lampshade in a range of stunning Indian hand-blocked prints in rich, earthy colours.

These fabrics are printed using the ancient method of block printing. A wooden block is skilfully carved for each colour and section of pattern, the dye applied and then pressed firmly onto the fabric. Small irregularities and imperfections are a part of the character of this beautiful fabric.

These gorgeous cone lampshades are handmade by myself in Sussex and feature a rolled edge finish and come with an adaptor ring to make them suitable for both standard UK and European fittings.

The shades shown measure 30cm diameter at the base and 18cm high. Please do contact me if you'd prefer a different size, shape, or a shade for a ceiling fitting.

I try to represent colours as accurately as possible but they may vary slightly from monitor to monitor. I'm more than happy to send out a fabric swatch in advance of purchase if this is a concern.
