This geranium has been preserved using traditional method of flower pressing and framed in a wooden white frame.
The story behind the Geranium: Traditionally bright red with a French frill, growing primly upwards or gracefully hanging, the geranium blooms lavishly. It can be found moderate climates, and has been very popular for centuries. Geraniums are native to Namibia and South Africa, although the variety that is pressed here is the English variety. The geranium came north in around 1600 on Dutch East Indies Company ships and was initially reserved for the nobility. However, due to the effectiveness of propagation, the plant rapidly spread to the wider public. The perfectly preserved flower captures the beauty of the geranium at its best, so that it can treasured as a keepsafe gift in your home. Ideal as a treasured gift for any nature lover or garden enthusiast.
