Using traditional handtools and skills of the old English Saddlery Trade, this stunning belt will be hand cut, handstitched at eight stitches per inch, then carefully finished entirely by hand, by a National Award winning craftsman.
The leather is designed for a job: thick enough to be a belt, it will stand up to the rigours of everyday use.
Over time, the luxurious suppleness of this world-renowned leather will enable the belt to naturally - and beautifully - mold to the shape of the wearer. A TBM belt will look after the owner as well as the owner will look after it and will become a firm favourite for years to come.

Your 'TBM Foxtrot' handmade English leather belt will be beautifully packed in a paper bubble lined, sturdy gift box with tissue paper and a gift card. If you would like us to add a personal message to the gift card, please enter the details in the 'personal message for gift card' box.
The belt colour pictured is 'Black'. There are several colours available and we can supply leather colour samples, please ask.
Please take extra care to check the required size carefully as different trouser styles can require a different belt size; TBM belts are measured from where the leather turns over the buckle to the centre of the range of holes.
To find the right size, take a belt that the recipient likes to wear: some detective work may be required here! Measuring the leather part only, take the length from where the leather touches the buckle to the hole that is most often used.

. Sedgwick’s First Selection, English Bridle Butt Leather
From the supplier with the Royal Warrant and used in horse harness, Sedgwick's best bridle leather is world renowned for its strength, durability, density and lustre, and when new it is fairly stiff. As the product is worn in, in a similar way to wearing in new boots, the belt leather will react to the natural oils in the hands and to the body heat of the wearer, gradually becoming more supple over time. This produces a wonderfully personal accessory, something which cannot be purchased in a newly made condition.
Each strap is cut from a single layer of this unique leather... it cannot delaminate, needs no stitching around the edges to hold it together and will not split at the holes in the same way as those normally available in retail.

. 38mm solid brass 'West End' buckle with a stainless steel tongue, for strength, looks, and a nod to our English Saddlery Heritage. Handcast in sand using methods hundreds of years old at our supplier's foundry in Walsall, England. Strong enough to last for the lifetime of the wearer and beyond. Classic style. Polished to our high shine finish.
NB: Brass is not normally created with the addition of nickel, however, our brass (and 90% of the planet's brass) is reclaimed and as such, cannot be guaranteed to be nickel free. As this buckle's tongue is stainless steel, it too cannot be guaranteed to be nickel-free. If the wearer has a strong nickel sensitivity it may be wiser to opt for a fully carbon fibre buckle.

We endorse the 'Slow Fashion' ethos. It won't be necessary to replace this belt each season as it will last for years under normal wear circumstances.

Bespoke TBM belts can be personalised with a message of up to 3 lines on the 3.8cm and 2.9cm widths or 2 lines on the 3.3cm and 3.8cm widths; approx 10 characters per line, depending on the characters used, ie. 'M' and 'W' take up more space then 'I' and '!'. This service is an additional £9.95 and we are happy to help you with character spacing and special character availability. We have a variety of puctuation symbols and even lower case 'x' for kisses.
The message can be positioned after the buckle and keepers (hidden when fastened) or after the holes at the other end of the strap.
The standard direction of text appears so that the recipient wears their belt with the strap end pointing to the right as you look at them; please select your options in the order menu. This will avoid the message or initials being displayed upside down.
