... The Leather
Sedgwick's First Grade English Bridle Butt leather. Arguably the best strap leather in the world, this full-grain butt cut is especially known for its strength, durability, density and lustre. Obtained from the supplier with the Royal Warrant, leather is, of course, a natural material so a little slight marking and colour variation are expected. No two belts will be the same.
Combining thinned layers of Black leather in this Sedgwick range, that are stitched together by hand, it has the strength to stand up to the everyday vigours of being a belt. Using the traditional hand tools of the English Saddlery trade, it is beautifully made to last.
Take care when wearing with light coloured items as, with all coloured leather products, some colour transfer may occur.
... The Stainless Steel Buckle
is built to last and also obtained from the holder of the Royal Warrant. It is carefully handstitched into place with the same vibrant purple thread which is seen in the rest of the belt.
