Japanese Incense and Ceramics for enhancing Mindfulness, Relaxation, Wellness, Clarity and Balance

Welcome to Terra & Co.

Having lived in the UK for many years, it was on a trip back to Japan that we first dreamed of supporting traditional Japanese crafts. Terra and Co was born in 2022.

We only source traditionally made natural incense and locally made ceramics from small local potters.

We care about the people we have met through our journey and are extremely grateful for all of the support that we have received. We hope you like our Japanese incense and ceramics as much as we do and are able to enjoy a taste of Japan.

About our products

About our incense

Our incense is made in Hyogo prefecture, using traditional methods and 100% natural ingredients. A paste is made using the finest camphor tree and charcoal powder and is mixed with natural plant extracts & essential oils. In Japan, we use our incense to purify the air when praying and respecting our ancestors or when we want to relax and refresh.

It is perfect for those who prefer a more delicate and tranquil scent. It helps to eliminate odours from pets, cooking etc, making it a more eco-friendly room scent than sprays.

About our ceramics

Our ceramics are made in ARITA town, known for their 400 years of history. It can be used serving delicious meals or even as incense holders. Sadly the town is shrinking as young people gravitate towards the cities, and this has had a detrimental effect on the industry. We support the local potters by bringing their craftsmanship to a wider market in the hope of reviving and preserving centuries of old tradition.
