A folk inspired beautiful Sun hanging decoration
A folk inspired beautiful Sun hanging decoration. The image of the Sun as a symbol of optimism, life and joy has been used across cultures and traditions. I have been inspired by a folksy illustraion of the sun to make this beautiful engraved glass hanging decoration. This would make an ideal birthday gift for a sun worshiper friend. Each one is hand made in my Bristol studio so each one is a unique piece.
I use a point engraver to draw on to the clear glass. I finish the piece with copper foiling and metal solder to create a silver -coloured frame.
The decoration will be careully wrapped in tissue paper and sent with Royal Mail first class delivery in a letterbox friendly parcel. You can add a giftnote at check out. If you have any further questions or would like to commission your own piece of engraved glass please do get in touch.
