About Us

Creating uniquely personal gifts and homewares since 2019.

The Crafty Plank was born in the summer of 2019, after many years of creating beautifully bespoke pieces for our family and friends from old and discarded planks of wood.

Since then our small business has flourished and we have been able to expand in ways we never thought possible. 2020, with all the lows, brought us the high of the acquisition of a giant CNC router to enable us to create even more bespoke pieces, including our fantastically fun children's shelves.

We currently operate from our garage and small garden studio, in Kent, where all of our products are CAD designed, machine cut, planed, sanded, printed, painted or hand lettered by us, before being packed up into fully recyclable packaging.

We pride ourselves on being as sustainable as possible and sourcing locally from other small businesses.

We love to experiment with new technologies and methods and hope to further increase our design capabilities as we further expand and grow.

Delivery

Due to the bespoke nature of most of our products, processing times do vary. We always endeavor to dispatch as soon as possible and will always keep you updated if there are any delays.

All of our products are lovingly and securely packed by us.

We are able to fully accommodate orders that are to be sent as gifts and make sure that receipts are not included within the package. Please do contact us if this is required.

UK POSTAGE- As standard, we use Royal Mail Second Class (2-3 working days) for all orders under £50. This method provides us with delivery confirmation.

INTERNATIONAL POSTAGE- As standard we send all International orders via International Standard with Royal Mail (3-7 working days, dependent on location).

We understand that there are times where detailed tracking and a faster delivery speed is required, we can absolutely accommodate this with next day and expedited delivery options available.
