During this tour around Fleet Street, the Strand and the City, you'll learn about 18th century coffee houses, gin palaces and beer houses. Discover more about the social (and often very antisocial!) aspects to these tipples, and how tea became our national drink.

This is for two people. A brilliant present for visiting friends and couples – or anyone who just loves getting out and about. Private tours (great for office outings or birthday groups) can be arranged, too; get in touch via the 'ask seller a question' button to find out more.

Tours are run monthly on Saturdays and start at 2pm

All you need bring is a good pair of comfy walking shoes and a thirst for knowledge.

A selection of drinks are included in the ticket price – you’ll get tea or coffee on arrival, a taster of gin and a small beer or soft drink en route. Each tour caters for a maximum of 10 people.
