This is an insider's view of the Liverpool music scene, told from the point of view of the icon leading the tour.
Liverpool, world-famous for the Fab Four, but this tour is not all about the Beatles.
WHAT'S THIS ALL ABOUT?
This is your moment to meet your icon face-to-face and hear their story. The walk will be led by either a member of The Farm or Frankie Goes to Hollywood. Discover their personal story to fame as you walk with them around the city, visiting sites not normally on the tourist trail.
Learn the insider gossip from a very vibrant period of music history. There will only be 12 of you on this walk, so plenty of chances to chat and get the full attention of the man himself. This is a world he experienced over several decades, so yes, he is certainly an expert on the subject.
TELL ME MORE
You will see gig venues, recording studios, pubs, and hangouts. Check out Probe Records, home to the second wave of Liverpool groups in the 1970s and ’80s. Take a visit to the Ministry Rehearsal rooms, where Echo and the Bunnymen, Teardrop Explodes, Frankie Goes to Hollywood, and The Farm all played.
The tour ends, as it should, in a pub, with a complimentary drink in central Liverpool. This will give you a chance to relax, raise a glass, ask questions, and get pictures.
Go back in time to when you first became a fan - would you ever have believed you could be sharing a drink? Awesome.
