The Laser Studio is the creation of cousins (and best friends since forever) Lauren and Samantha. Two Northern lasses with a little Lancashire studio, big passion for design and an even bigger Lancashire accent.
After a succession of new family arrivals in 2017, it became frustrating finding enough variety of unique and thoughtful gifts. So they decided to draw on their shared creativity, roll up their crafty sleeves and magic together pieces they knew friends and family would not only cherish but hold on to. Then wouldn't you know, 2018 came and two hot-pink-clad bridesmaids now had the same problem, but this time with a string of weddings to attend.
After planning and creating pieces for the weddings, they juggled around life to take their ideas a bit more seriously. With a focus on assembling a unique range of gifts, home decor and paper goods - aimed at like-minded ladies who struggle to pick out just the right gift.

Fast-forward a little further, and the studio has grown to take in some fabulous equipment that allows pieces to be custom made and personalised in-house. This compliments the more traditional craft skills of illustration, hand lettering and painted designs. They're multi talented those girl-bosses!
With a young eco-warrior in the family, it was important from the start to design using as little plastic as possible. Making use of recycled or sustainable alternatives and having oh so much fun creating hand-made papers and shredded confetti from card off-cuts.
Some serious consideration is taken when designing (usually over an extra large cup of tea), so the time invested in creating each original product can be clearly seen. Every piece is finished by hand and checked along the way, making sure perfection is reached for those wonderful gift-givers - including those who are gifting themselves.

ECO FRIENDLY
We're proud to have our own little eco-warrior in the family. So we've tried to remove all single-use plastics and plastics within our packaging. We recycle our laser cut card offcuts into wonderful padding. Our gift wallets are made from 100% recycled. Origin UK from 100% post-consumer waste.
The birch wood we use is sourced from a local company that recognises the independent certification of forests and the process chain is the most useful tool in providing assurances that the timber comes from legal and well-managed forests. The company will only accept or use labels or certificates which include environmental or sustainability claims if these are supported by publicly available standards drawn up in a fully participatory transparent and objective manner and backed by independent inspection.
