About the Vineyard
The Bollinger house has been a cornerstone of France's legendary Champagne region for over 400 years. Its rise to global prominence began in the 19th century, when Queen Victoria granted Bollinger the Royal Warrant, making it the official champagne supplier to her court. In the mid-20th century, Bollinger achieved widespread international acclaim through extensive travel and promotion. During this golden era, the house introduced the iconic Special Cuvée Brut NV, made possible by acquiring numerous Pinot Noir vineyards. This signature champagne embodies Bollinger’s tradition of excellence and dedication to crafting world-class wines.
Bespoke Wooden Box
At The Magnum Company, we believe presentation is as important as the wine itself. Each bottle is carefully housed in a bespoke wooden box, crafted from responsibly sourced materials. Instead of tropical hardwoods, we use sustainable alternatives like mango wood—a by-product of the fruit industry that supports environmentally friendly practices. This approach promotes a cycle of planting and harvesting while reducing waste.
Our wood suppliers comply with strict international forestry standards, ensuring forests are responsibly managed and trees are replanted or naturally regenerated. These eco-conscious practices reflect our commitment to sustainability, creating packaging that is both elegant and ethical.
When combined with the craftsmanship of Bollinger’s wines, our thoughtfully designed wooden boxes make this an unforgettable gift that embodies quality, care, and sustainability.
