Stork Embroidery Scissors

These are far by one of the most useful tools in our sewing box. They are great for snipping small ends of thread and brilliant for using within cross stitch and embroidery projects.

They have traditional design of where the head and beak of the stork make up the blades and hinge, and the feet make up the handles. The history of this design of scissors is that they were used in midwifery. We will leave you to work our what they were for!
