The Shoreditch collection is made using reclaimed wood salvaged from old boats and buildings in southern India; places such as Gujarat, Maharashtra and Rajasthan.
The aged timbers are typically between fifty and one hundred and fifty years old and are assembled by skilled craftsmen who create this characterful and eye-catching furniture.
As each piece in the range is hand-finished using a blend of timbers every item is individual and environmentally friendly.
The wood is finished with a satin lacquer which is hardwearing yet emphasises the colour and character in the timber.
A steel outer frame gives a stylish edge whilst also offering great rigidity. Solid iron handles complement this piece beautifully.
