Keep it simple

Having many years experience in the pottery industry providing silk screen prints for most pottery companies, we decided to produce our own range of fine bone china mugs.

So in September 2012 The Pot Bank was formed, taking our name from the colloquial term for a pottery factory - 'Potbank'.

We are passionate about producing items using traditional methods of silk screen printing and hand decorating techniques, and we pride ourselves on producing items made entirely in Stoke-on-Trent.

Our blank white mugs are purchased from a local company that has been producing china in Stoke-on-Trent for over 100 years.

Every item produced has our own pattern, designed, printed, decorated and fired by ourselves, in one premises in Burslem, the Mother town of the Staffordshire Potteries and birthplace of Josiah Wedgwood.

Our style is typically English and our motto is 'Keep It Simple'.

Our back stamp was born from a love, bordering on obsession, of the bottle kiln, the iconic and, in our opinion, beautiful structure that defined the potteries from the 18th century.

We are also passionate about providing excellent customer service, striving for perfection in production, communication and delivery.
