A unique, rustic pestle and mortar crafted from sustainably sourced olive wood.
Perfect for bashing, smashing and grinding herbs and spices for all those gorgeous curries and tagines.
These pestle and mortars have been crafted by artisans to a very high standard.
Ethically produced: we only use wood from very old olive trees that have come to the end of their natural fruiting life and have already been replaced with younger, more productive trees.

Made from
each pestle and each mortar has been crafted from one piece of olive wood, which is a very beautiful and very hard wood. Every piece is completely unique with stunning grain patterns and colour.
care instructions: hand wash with hot, light soapy water. Treat often with olive, coconut or any other food grade oil. A care guide is included.
