Free food grows all around us from herbs to berries, seaweeds to fragrant flowers. Enjoy the countryside whilst learning how to identify and preserve wild food to enjoy throughout the year.
Celebrate the senses as we enjoy a fine dinning gourmet feast. The setting is always special; from a stylish beach hut to a wilderness picnic.
Wild Kitchen founder, Lucia Stuart is a member of The Association of Foragers. She has featured on the BBC, Food Network and Channel Four. She has been foraging for twenty years; cultivating her passion by running an internationally renowned restaurant in France.
LOCATION: The Wild Kitchen is based in Deal, East Kent. All foraging locations are within 45 minutes of Deal. Deal train station has direct connections to London 90 mins. Transport for foot passengers is provided.
DURATION: 4-6 hours. The experiences take place approximately once a month from March through to November. You will be in a group of 6 -18 people. Private bookings, birthdays and corporate away-days are welcomed.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
Included is a comprehensive foraging tutorial, a wild food gourmet feast with botanical cocktails, herbal teas & syrups, foraged food, plant notes and photographs to take home.
Those with dietary needs are welcomed however please notify your host of this when booking.
The Forage and Feast experiences are suitable for all ages. Dogs are permitted depending on our location.
