Where expertise counts
At The Wine Centre, Great Horkesley we take great pride and enjoyment in all that we do. Our attention to detail and passion for our extensive range of quality wines and luxury product range are second to none.
All the products for our hampers and wine gifts are carefully selected by our experienced team with each item complimenting the other to provide a hamper or gift you would be delighted to receive or share with family and friends. We source our products from local, independent businesses where possible, as well as independent vineyards and some of the top wine suppliers and producers from across the world.
We make gifting as easy as possible. Once you have chosen your gift, sit back and relax whilst the magic begins!
Our Team
All our wines are specially selected by Anthony, a graduate of Montpellier University where he studied oenology. Highly knowledgeable about all aspects of the wine industry, including experience working in the Ardeche, Santa Barbara, California, and London, he has also edited wine journals and been invited as a judge for wine competitions and tastings nationally and internationally.
We are a small family-run independent wine merchant and deli with a long-established reputation for excellence. We are celebrating our 58th year as a wine merchant in Great Horkesley, Colchester, Essex, and our 22nd year of ownership. We have won multiple awards over the years, including featuring in the exclusive independent wine merchant club “UK`s Top 50” as voted for by over 100 judges out of over 800 wine merchants.

Delivery
Orders received by 13.00 (GMT) Monday to Thursday can be despatched for next day delivery almost anywhere in mainland UK. Orders received by 13.00 (GMT) on a Friday will be despatched the same day for delivery the following Monday (Excluding Bank Holidays) almost anywhere in mainland UK.
