Perfect as a gift for Mother's Day or on the table, for afternoon tea or a slice of cake. They would be equally at home displayed on a wall in a series, as part of a ceramic wall installation.
Inspired by living in South West London, summer strawberries and a love of blue and white china, this series of Strawberry Delft Chintz plates are designed and individually hand decorated by Nicola and then fired in her studio, sometimes multiple times to allow for the layering of the floral elements which create a unique border on each plate, before a delicious strawberry is added to the middle of the plate.

Made of fine English bone china which is known for both its whiteness and translucency, each plate is individually hand-decorated and then fired after the application of each layer of decoration. These variations make each individual plate unique, but still part of a recognisable set.
