Variations
A blossom painting inspired by Van Gogh’s Almond tree painting and the blossoms where I live in Brockley, London. I love the Japanese festival of Blossom, Sakura and many of my paintings are inspired by the simple backgrounds found in Japanese woodcuts. Blossoms are joyful and uplifting images to have on your wall. I was born in the spring and they seems to me a symbol of rebirth. This is one of a series I made on primed paper which was then stuck to wood and mounted in a wooden frame. A joyful painting to give as a birthday or wedding present.
The painting is presented ready to hang with a certificate of authenticty from the artist.
