Our Story

Gifts for Babies and their Parents

Hello I'm Erin, the founder of Too Many Pjs. I worked as a Textile Designer in the London fashion industry for over 10 years giving me a wealth of experience in textile printing and sewing techniques. Just after having my first child I created a sensory play mat for my son with fabrics I had designed myself. The play mats evolved and I now make sensory toys, bedding, and other nursery decor. I design and make all of the textile based items myself from my studio. All of the items I create are designed to stimulate a baby's senses, and contribute to their cognitive and motor skill development. I also incorporate trend inspired colours and nursery themes which are intended to compliment the modern home rather than clash with it.

Too Many Pj has expanded from sensory toys and nursery decor to now incorporate family lifestyle items, such as scented candles, cork boards, and display shelves. There is now a range of gifts for the entire family!

Sustainable design for life

I use only 100% organic fabrics, sustainable materials and eco-friendly inks.

I believe in living a sustainable lifestyle and want to keep the waste and environmental damage caused by the textile industry to a minimum. I do this by using only GOTS certified organic fabrics and sustainable materials. All of the inks and dyes in the fabrics are Oeko-tex approved and meet EN71-3 of the Toy Safety Directive, meaning they don't contain any harmful chemicals. The toys and play mats are then filled with a wadding material made from recycled plastic bottles. I aim to have a zero waste company and utilise even the smallest patches of fabric in the sensory blocks and other toys. But most importantly, I hope that your family will enjoy the products I make for generations to come in turn increasing their sustainability.

  • "Couldn’t be happier with the sensory cube. The neutral colour way is gorgeous, materials all feel fantastic and my little one is transfixed by it. Makes such a refreshing change to have a toy that looks so beautiful whilst still being fun for baby. I have my eye on the blocks next to add to our collection."

Punchy colors, yet they keep true to the retro style that I was looking for. Customer service was timely and attentive. I will definitely be shopping through "Too Many PJs" again!"
