A beautiful oak garden swing, made for two.
This double swing can seat two people side by side and will look perfect in any garden. They are handmade to order, from scratch in our Surrey Hills workshop. They will make the best wedding gift or 5th anniversary gift or if you want something a little different to sit on in your garden. If you have a pergola or framed sitting area, these are so nice just to sit on, even by yourself, because you can take up the whole swing and gently sway.
OUR UK MADE ROPE:
All of our personalised oak garden swings come fitted with 5 metres of Synthetic Hemp Rope (on both sides). The rope is handmade in the UK by experts. The rope is a strong marine quality that is mellow in colour, soft to touch, and being synthetic it won’t swell, shrink or rot, unlike natural rope. Longer lengths of rope are available if required, please let us know how much you need.
All Swings come ready to hang. You can tie your oak swing directly from a tree branch or we can supply marine quality fittings, ideal for adjustment without having to climb the tree. They can also be hung from frames, porches and other such like.
Please note: These swings are not suitable anyone under 14.
PERSONALISE YOUR TWO SEATER SWING:
Our tree swings are available blank with standard engraving or can be personalised with your own personal message. Up to 50 characters per side.
FINISH:
As with everything we do, we have spent the time researching and sourcing the perfect materials available. Each oak swing is handmade from one piece of Air Dried Superior Grade English Oak. This Timber is perfectly seasoned and adjusted for outdoor conditions. You can choose to leave your swing untreated, finished in Superior Danish Oil or our low maintenance Diamond Coating finish. If you choose untreated your product will weather to a pale silver more quickly. Danish Oil will not only treat the timber but also bring out the timbers natural colour. This has a UV filter to protect the timber but it does require regular upkeep. 2 – 4 times a year to keep it looking its best. Diamond Coating is more glossy but a lot more harder wearing and only requires a top up once a year, however this depend on the weather and where the product is placed. We would recommend twice a year if you want full protection.
