Handmade Sledge Bed

Here we have a beautiful handmade sledge bed in various sizes.

The steel setion of the headboard and footer is made out of a good, solid 40x40 steel box section for incredible strength with 90 degree angle rails at each side and a central rail for support of the bed slats.

The timber headboard and footer is made from rough sawn timber, 25-30mm thick and then waxed and oiled with a hard wax and a protecting oil to give the rustic finish which compliments the raw steel.

TRL Handmade Furniture is based in Nottingham and uses locally sourced materials from independent suppliers to ensure a low carbon footprint and to support local businesses. We are also working towards having Zero waste from our production.
