Description
Everything an IKEA bag is good for - picnics, storage, gym kit, flight hand luggage, musical instruments - but made beautiful and original.Made with the pattern of a Fraakta IKEA bag from pre-loved fabrics. I have kept the mass produced IKEA handles for a jaunty contrast as well as sturdiness. The photos show the front and back views - as the fabric is different on both sides and also the lining, as these can be reversed too. I've also included photos of the sides where the two (or more) fabrics meet. The base is vibrant orange and partially waterproof. Every seam is double stitched and the bag can take a weight in excess of 10k.
Variations

Made from
They have been hand made in a tiny factory in London using fabrics from vintage clothes and furnishings, which have been thoroughly washed. A mixture of cottons, silks, corduroys, wools and denims.
Dimensions
The bag measures 85cm wide at the top and tapers to 56cm x 32cm at the bottom. It is the same size and shape as a large blue IKEA bag.
