Referencing Ben's Mum work from the 1990's, this piece has been over 25 years in the making. The drawings and lines are abstracted & translated through texture and stitch.
Handmade from start to finish in Brighton by textile artists Andy & Ben using dead-stock wool yarn and backed using quality beige Irish linen.
On the cream base the sketchy and fluid lines are tufted in black, echoing the hand drawn quality of Amanda Sumpter's work with a touch of terracotta.
This unique tufted carpet cushion is part of a limited run of 10 - the edition of this piece is listed at the top.
