Set on a dark brown stone washed Irish linen base, beige shapes based on botanicals found in Ben's Mum's sketchbooks from the 1990s are stitched down.
The original drawn works were studies from Derek Jarman's 'Prospect Cottage' in Dungeness.
Handcrafted in the twofolde studio in Brighton, the black stitch echoes drawn fluid line. The cushion back is beige linen, making it a negative and contrast to the front.
This unique collaged stitched cushion is part of a limited run of 10 - the edition of this piece is listed at the top.
