A series of abstracted imagery referencing Ben's Mum's sketchbook work in the 1990s. Each motif exists in the shared space of the contemporary square cushion, a unique piece of artisan homeware.
The shapes were explored and manipulated through paper collage before being tufted & abstracted further through stitch.
This minimal homeware piece is handmade in Brighton from start to finish by textile artists Ben & Andy using dead-stock wool and have a firm feel. This piece has a cream base with blue abstract motifs & is backed on 100% Irish linen.
This unique tufted carpet cushion is part of a limited run of 10 - the edition of this piece is listed at the top.
