Product description

Your daily cleaning chore will be plastic free! Beautiful and sustainable, handmade by Japanese artisan. Made from Japanese paper and varnished by natural tannin.

Harimi Dustpans are made of layers of thick Japanese paper, framed with bamboo.

It is then finished with persimmon tannin, the traditional all-purpose water/dust/shock-proof varnish. It also dyed the paper with beautiful reddish brown colour.

Lightweight, flexible and durable, they are skillfuly crafted by artisans.

Each material used is absolutely biodegradable and free from the static.

Large dustpan is suitable for the floors. Small dustpan is great for tables and shelves.

The maker, Shirokiya Denbei, is a family run broom maker established in 1830.
