Beautiful yet functional, this set is hand made by Japanese artisan. Using only natural materials, they are sustainable and last for decades.
This listing is for a SET of small broom and a small dustpan. Perfect gift for new home, moving and fresh start.
Suitable for table top and small area. Free from the static and absolutely sustainable.
Broom: Made of Shuro (Japanese Hemp Palm) fibre and Bamboo stick bound with copper wire + brass rivets.
Dustpan: Made of layers of thick Japanese paper, framed with bamboo. It is then finished with persimmon tannin, the traditional all-purpose water/dust/shock-proof varnish. Lightweight, flexible and durable.

Made from
Broom - The bristles are made of Japanese Hemp Palm fibre, bound with copper wire. Brass revet.
Dustpan - Japanese card paper, coated with natural persimmon tannin varnish. Red colour is from natural cochineal pigment. Framed with bamboo.
Shuro fibre resists water very well, which made this tool useful for household chores in kitchen and bathroom. Don't hesitate to get the bristles wet. This broom is meant to be used for 10-15 years.
We recommend to avoid storing this item under direct sunlight.
