“Chihiro” (千尋) is a Japanese name with several possible meanings. Commonly, “千” (chi) means “thousand,” and “尋” (hiro) means “to search” or “to seek.” Therefore, Chihiro is interpreted as “thousand searches” or “thousand questions,” evoking a sense of depth, exploration, and curiosity.
