HI! I'm Katie an art school survivor, Mummy of two, and sole person here at Ventresca Made.

My makes started off as bright and bold muslin blankets for my children, friends, and family with a personal touch using hand embroidery but have now evolved into multiple items not just for baby but for all the family and your home.

Like so many, I lost my 'real' job as an Event Director shortly after returning to work post-baby number two, amidst Covid and it was the best thing that happened to me.

I had already been making these items for my family and as gifts for years and had been asked by others where I'd bought them from. It had planted a seed but juggling an intense career with little ones I could barely find the time to dedicate to my family let alone start a business. Until Covid. The gift of time had been given to me and the planning started, the orders started coming in from local Mums, family, and friends and I haven't looked back.
