This is a 1970's Fidelity HF42 turntable, which has been redesigned, re-engineered and upcycled into a one of a kind functional piece of kitsch art.
This is a classic and stylish piece and one of a kind. The record featured here is a beautiful HMV 78 shellac record. As you can see from the pictures the label has the classic HMV design, a painting by Francis Barraud (ARA) of the dog Nipper listening to a wind-up gramophone.
I can of course alter the clock face to show a record by your favourite musician or recording artist as I have a library of thousands and many contacts from which I can source a particular record or artist.
Examples of popular choices include Abba, AC/DC, Grandmaster Flash, Elvis and many more.
The body of the clock is formed from black plastic with faux wood effect surround. The back is enclosed except for a hole through to the clock mechanism, through which you can change the battery and adjust the time. The clock is made to hang on a wall via a wire on the back.
