Our Great Taste Gold Star Award Winning forest chestnuts are candied in syrup over a period of 240 hours. Somewhere along this unhurried process a hint of vanilla is added transformng them into prime Marron Glacé. The sublte flavours linger in the mouth as a gentle reminder of the glorious feast you've just eaten.
Originating in Europe during the 16th century when sugar was used as a natural preservative. The production process has changed very little over the centuries. Although we vacuum seal them to retain their freshness and flavour.
