Hi I’m Stacey, I am a mixed media fine artist and with my ‘Covers’ project I specialise in ‘painting the music’. Each unique piece of art I create with this project is made to the duration of your favourite songs. Music evokes an emotional response in all of us and we all associate our music to many different specific memories through life, the ups, the downs, the mind blowing, the catastrophic, the process, the journey or often the cause. It is often a shared experience and something that beautifully brings us as humans together. This is one of the reasons I find myself listening to your song stories and doing my favourite thing, loosing myself in the art of music. It turns out I have a small amount of synethesia that really helps to create this emotive and fast paced action art to the songs that you request. I have made many of these paintings for individuals so far, in particular wedding gifts in memory of first dances/first gigs/romantic and meaningful songs tailored to the person.
