Wilde Iris meets at the intersection of science and style: a clothing collection of wonder-wear that supports young children's visual and cognitive development.

Created by two mums, in the midst of a global pandemic, our sensory clothing collection - Wilde Iris meets at the intersection of science and style: a clothing collection designed to support a baby's visual and cognitive development. Our high contrast black and white patterns are scientifically proven to stimulate small eyes and help synapses start firing - in turn boosting little brains. We hope that the collection - whilst designed to fixate and fascinate the smallest eyes - will simultaneously appeal to style conscious parents (like us).

The Science

Stimulate. Educate. Fascinate.

Between the ages of 0-3 years, a baby's brain produces more than a million neural connections each second. Science has demonstrated that you can actually improve your little one's brain function and encourage mental development by surrounding them with strong - and age-appropriate - visual stimuli.

The patterns of our clothes and accessories draw on this science in order to trigger these connections by age and stage and support your infant's ongoing cognitive, social and physical development.

> We use the science of sight to guide the shapes, scale and colours of our patterns in order to excite immature eyes and support developing vision.

> Our designs provide a great stimulus for learning about colours and shapes (which in turn feeds into other aspects of development, including the ability to categorise, sort, compare and communicate effectively).
