Our seed packets are 100% recycled and recyclable and measure 9 x 12 cm. The seeds are inside in a glassine paper sachet, not a foil and plastic one. Glassine paper is an eco-friendly and plastic-free alternative to mass-produced heat-sealed plastic and foil/paper sachets. Unlike those sachets glassine paper can be recycled and is biodegradable. It is also resistant to moisture and will keep the seeds dry in the main packet.
There are 7 species of wildflower in this mix, which is bespoke to us. The seeds are grown in the UK by a DEFRA-registered grower who is inspected annually, and the seeds are traceable. The mix contains UK native species only and all of them are amazing for insects! You will get about a gram or so of seeds, enough to create a 1 metre square wildflower patch. Seed content is as follows - Lesser Knapweed, Wild Carrot,Ladies Bedstraw, Ox-eye Daisy, Selfheal, Teasel and Musk Mallow. It is vital to grow native wildflower seeds for our native insects.
