We want to get books back into the hands of youngsters, get children back into the garden learning, while giving them the chance to meet their favourite characters. Willsow books are unique, they're made of recycled paper embedded with real vegetable seeds. Every single part of the book is sustainable from the stitching that binds the book, to the vegetable-based inks used to print the illustrations. Willsow adventures are ideal for children with a reading age of 3-10 years old, but as you can plant the pages, they can be enjoyed by much older than that! (Big kids too!)
Variations
You can include personalisation in the form of a recycled paper wraparound band. This is secured around the book and can display your name and a personal message or greeting. You can see an example in our product pictures of how this will look.
**PLEASE NOTE** this is a paper band that goes around the book, we're unable to personalise the book pages themselves due to the complex printing method used to print our plantable books. We also cannot print images on the band. Any queries, please contact us directly prior to placing your order.

Made from
Our books are made from fully recyclable post-consumer waste paper, donated from businesses and schools. This paper is embedded with 500 non-GMO lettuce seeds in the front and back cover. The cotton we use to stitch our books is fully biodegradable. The envelopes we use to send the books in are 'Ecolopes' and they are plastic free, recyclable and biodegradable. The inks we print with are vegetable-based and the dyes in the ink are organic and readily decompose.
