We engrave your own words and a co-ordinate into solid oak, creating a special gift to remind you of a special occasion or place.
This would make a special wedding present or fifth year wedding anniversary gift. It would also make a lovely housewarming present, or a reminder of a special occasion - a holiday or a precious moment in time, perhaps a first meeting or the birth of a child.
We have chosen the co-ordinate for Antony Gormley's installation 'Another Place' on the beach at Crosby for one of the signs in the photographs. It is a very special place for Chris (the other half of Winning Works) and myself.
You can choose your own special place and choose own words for the top line and a co-ordinate for the second line. If you know the co-ordinate for your special place, that's great. Just enter the co-ordinate when ordering your special sign.
If you don't know the co-ordinate of your special place, don't worry. Just give us the full address of your chosen place and we will work out the co-ordinate for you. We always engrave the co-ordinate in the traditional degrees, minutes and seconds style as shown in the photographs.
We engrave the words deeply into the oak and then apply natural oils to feed and protect the wood.
We gift wrap your sign in tissue paper with a ribbon and gift tag. Please note we current use a soft grey ribbon.
We don't use Sellotape, so you can take a sneaky peep at your sign then re-wrap your sign without tearing the paper.
