A perfect gift for both men and women this piece is so versatile and easy to wear. The recycled brass tag can be personalised with up to four characters and the lovely suede ribbon is long enough to tie easily as a necklace or will wrap around most wrists three times.
The brass tag charms are entirely handmade in rural Africa and each one is quite unique in its exact shape and finish, we consider that this is what makes our jewellery special. The recycled brass is from West Africa and comes from old plumbing fittings, collected and transformed using the ancient Asante Lost Wax Process. Each item is first hand molded in local honeybee wax giving evey piece it's own particular identity. With no electricity available this is then fired in an earth kiln. The whole process gives the metal a wonderful worn quality.
