The artwork features silk leafs, colourful buttons and freehand stitching. The couple's names are embroidered in the trunk of the tree, creating a subtle but personal effect.
For me, trees are a wonderful symbol of family and connection, connecting us with the earth and our ancestors. They also symbolise the tree of life, which is perfect for a new marriage and the start of a new family.

You can choose to include names and dates, nicknames or a short message (e.g. 'Sam and Olivia, 21st July 2014' , 'Rosie, 12th July 2015', Maddy, apple of our eye, 3rd July 2012 ). You can include up to 30 characters.
The words are stitched freehand to look like joined-up writing and will be stitched within the main trunk of the tree and further naturalised by using swirl stitching to represent the knots and grooves of the trunk.
The green silk leaves are hand cut and stuck to the tree, together with 12 - 17 rosy red shell buttons (other quantities are available, just ask). You can also choose pink shell buttons if you would prefer to have a gentle suggestion of a cherry tree or if pink better suits a colour scheme.
Free gift wrapping is also offered, and the gift can be sent directly to the recipient. You can choose this at checkout. The artwork will be tied with 'stitched with love' ribbon, and then placed in a custom made box.
All original artwork is supplied in a cream mount, ready to frame.
Frames are also available (53cm wide by 55 cm tall, approx 4cm deep). The frame is locally handmade in Bristol, using ash wood.
The frame is fronted with glass which is carefully protected in transit. Framed artwork is sent in a custom made, foam lined box for protection.
