The MILDO tablemat is handstitched from felt balls; use it for your teapot, a plantpot mat or displaying your treasures. Matching ASIK coaster available.
Handmade in a small workshop in the Kathmandu Valley, Nepal. Women hand-felt all the small wool balls, which are dried en mass in the sun and then hand-stitched together to create our coasters, mats and rugs. AURA QUE started working with the group in 2019. AURA QUE products are individually handcrafted and the unique story behind each AURA QUE product enhances its charm!

Made from
Carefully hand-felted from 100% raw sheep wool with soap and water. The felt is hand rolled into balls, dried in the sun on the workshop roof and then hand-stitched in the workshop. The shades of grey, brown and cream are completely natural, while other colours are produced using azo-free dyes. Wool is a natural insulator, with high breathability, and it resists odours due to its natural antibacterial properties. Wool is one of the most sustainable fabrics in existence; renewable and biodegradable, it requires relatively little water for its production. Our wool is mulesing free.
Care instructions: Spot clean with damp cloth. Do not submerge in water.
