Humbugz ~ Inspired by sweets.
Taking inspiration from the form, and appearance of the classic humbug sweet, these cute little tables/stools are both fun and functional. The tablet shape of the sweet, with its pressed ends is echoed on the table tops, creating a very organic, tactile form. The stripes are created by laminating two different hardwoods together, in this case Ash & Oak...the tones of the two timbers compliment each other very well, creating a visually stunning treat that looks good enough to eat.
Suitable for use as side tables, or occasional extra seating, these Humbugz offer a very practical solution to a modern, open plan living environment.
Humbugz are finished with a blend of oil and wax, offering a very hard wearing finish, one that unlike French polish, is easily repaired should an accident occur. The finish also feels very nice to the touch, you might find it hard to resist having a little stroke of your Humbug.
Available in three different hieghts, small 35 cm, medium 45 cm and largre 55 cm....they also work very well as a nest of three....
The nest of three Humbugz, comprises all three units of differing heights...one at 35 cm, one at 45 cm and one at 55 cm. The tops measure 45 cm by 22 cm, with a depth of 4.5 cm.
