Furniture With Personality, by one man....a man with a Red Thumb Print.

Red Thumb Print is a brand name and makers mark, for furniture designed by David James Shackleton.

David is an independent designer maker based in Lancashire. He produces a range of furniture & home accessories, often with a playful side. David believes furniture should excite us, it should have character and style, whilst still providing function.

Having completed his studies in 2015, David created a range of products, and set up the brand Red Thumb Print.

His work has been featured in numerous publications, including Good Woodworking Magazine.

He has exhibited his work at some of the country’s top craft events, and had numerous solo exhibitions with independent galleries.

David loves what he does, and this is reflected in the finished products.

All products are handcrafted by David, using ethically sourced FSC certified timber, before being discreetly branded with his signature Red Thumb Print.
