A house concert with blues guitar maestro and The Stranglers' ex-guitarist, John Ellis.
Two words. House Concert. You stay at home and the music comes to you. Our blues guitar maestro, John Ellis has toured the world, and if you want to hear stories from life on the road, he’s the man. He also plays exceptionally well. He formed his first band Bazooka Joe in 1970 (band members included Adam Ant) and then went on to form the Vibrators.
John will appear guitar at the ready (acoustic only, we don’t want to bring down the walls) at 19.00 and stay until 23.00. During this time he will not only play, but answer any questions, he might even allow you to jam with him. An informal event, with a great musician in homes or venues within the tube network. So gather the mates together, and get ready to rock.
This experience really is a special treat, and we all need some of those...
He has worked with rock luminaries included Peter Gabriel and Peter Hammill, oh yes, and he headlined with The Stranglers. This is a man with rock music seeping from the bones.
HAPPY CUSTOMERS: "I had a wonderful time on Saturday – as I said to John, it was truly inspirational!"
