WHAT'S THIS POTTERY CLASS ALL ABOUT?
This is a private pottery experience. Carmel Eskell crafts and curates bespoke tableware for boutique hotels and restaurants all over the country - if you live in Bristol, you have probably already eaten off one of her dishes. She works from a studio 20 minutes outside Bristol, set in a working woodyard with timber-framed buildings and a farm shop nearby. It's the perfect setting for an artist's studio and a ceramics workshop.Carmel's classes are a destination. Students arrive from far and wide to learn from her. She is a marvellous teacher who wants to share her skills in this relaxed and friendly environment. The studio is equipped with two pottery wheels and ample space for hand-building projects if that's your preference. Clean aprons and towels are provided.
