Handmade, using fine Italian aniline leather. The seat cushions have a foam filling, with an overlay of fibre. The density of the foam means that the cushions will mould to your contours, and the fibre wrap gives the softness that is so welcoming.
No pigments are used in the leather, so that the inherent grain and markings shine through. Each and every defect is clearly visible, and scarring, mottling, wrinkling and shading are distinctive features.
Each hide, and so each piece of furniture, is 100% unique and, because it is a natural product, will vary slightly in colour.

Shade Variation: As leather is a natural product, different parts of the hide will absorb different quantities of the dye used in the tanning process (aniline dye). Therefore, it is possible to see shade variation in the end product. Tones, shades and pigmentation will vary from hide to hide and are subject to change from piece to piece. We embrace the quirky nature of these variations in shade and tone, rather than producing corrected-grain leathers resulting in an over-exposed, uniform look. The handcrafted pure aniline premium leathers our manufacturer uses are expertly dyed to preserve the natural, rustic beauty that makes each upholstered piece unique.
