Alludio

Alludio is a latin word which means playful, play. It sums up the creative motto for designer-maker Claudia Schmidek, the name behind the brand.

Having fun while freely exploring shapes, colours and materials. Inspired by everyday objects, historical artifacts, fashion or architecture, her collections give a nod to vintage yet are modern looking, unique yet wearable, playful yet elegant. Her pieces are full of character and comprise mainly of sterling silver, gold, precious and semi-precious stones, freshwater pearls, along with some alternative materials.

Brazilian born with Austrian/German heritage, Claudia has been living in the UK since 2005. After graduating as an Architect and devoting a few years working in the field, she began training as aJewellery designer/maker, before setting up her own workshop in London. Due to her many cultural influences, she likes to experiment with new materials and shapes, exploring possibilities whilst pursuing an aesthetically pleasant and beautiful result. She likes to create collections as well as one-off pieces and is very happy to undertake commissions.

All items are designed and made in London using recycled metals (silver, gold or palladium) and ethically sourced stones wherever possible. When casting, it is always locally outsourced.
