Flumens (n) - a river or stream, the habitat of many species of freshwater fish.

This print is the first in a series inspired by creatures that can be found a little closer to home, celebrating our native UK species. Flumens features a variety of fish found in our waterways, rivers, lakes and streams, from the large and intimidating pike to the smallest stickleback. Each fish is hand painted in watercolour by artist Maddie Chambers before being digitally printed in the UK onto thick 300gsm card using eco-friendly inks. The front has a glossy water-based coating while the back remains matte to give it that authentic seaside souvenir feel.
